Gaming Says, "What Recession?"

Posted by: OpTiMuSNY

If the country is on the verge of falling into a recession or currently experiencing one, and the answer to that will vary depending on who you ask, then it’s pretty clear that, for whatever reason, the game industry hasn’t gotten the memo. Something that can’t be spun by even the most gifted of spin masters is the fact that the good old US of A is, without a doubt, experiencing hard economic times and the effects of this are being felt in enough places for it to not be taken lightly.

3D Falls Victim To Core, Forza Sunday

Posted by: toast

Looking to improve on each weeks performance, 3D.NY has done just that thus far and has another opportunity tonight at tonight at 7:00 PM EST as they take on the still winless, Carolina Core. However, don't let their record fool you as Carolina won the 2008 CGS Combine and is simply playing mediocre CS:S on purpose. Conversely, 3D continues to do their best to improve and solidify their spot amount the best in CGS. In what should be an interesting match, these twos squads will be duking it on on de_season as it will be played for the first time in CGS history this evening. Another twist that was just brought to my attention is that 3D.NY will be using their taxi player Pex in place of Volcano, who unfortunately cannot make the match tonight.

MOJO MOJO MOJO!!! Mojo wins 3-2 for 3D.NY

Posted by: toast

Go Mojo!
3D.NY's twice tested FIFA 08 Taxi Player Jake "Mojo" Valianes finally brought home the Victory for 3D.NY with an exciting overtime victory over the Carolina Core's Taxi Player Erik "Kabe" Kabe. Mojo opted to use Cameroon in this match because he told me quite simply "I need Samuel E'to" and upon his victory he only had the following to say: "Don't doubt Cameroon". I guess I won't ever doubt Cameroon Jake. Great Game to both players.

Power Of The Pep-Talk

Posted by: toast

Captain Geffon
As Season 2 draws closer by the day, it is time to examine what is the most important part of the franchise matches. No, it is not the caliber of the player on your team, nor is it the equipment he or she plays with, it is all about the pep talk. Having never been in 3D.NY huddle, I'm going to speculate that moto is the leader of the pre-game rituals and have some suggestions for him. I've compiled a list of some of the greatest motivational speeches of recent times in hopes he can adapt it for use in the 3D.NY huddle, just substitute a few names and whatnot and 3D.NY should have no problem producing a perfect record this season!
