3D.NY Victorious in CEVO Placement Debut

POSTGAME REPORT

As mentioned before the match against the relatively unknown team in Vindicative about underestimating your opponent, 3D.NY saw themselves in an overtime situation for the first map in their debut CEVO Placement tournament match. Whether they fell into that trap is anyone's call, however, they were able to persevere and come through with a clutch OT win, 18-16 overall. Led by Juan throughout on de_inferno the team carried the momentum to de_dust2 and sealed the deal for a 13-7 final victory.

PREGAME REPORT

3D.NY goes up against Vindiciative in their debut match for the seventh CEVO Placement tournament after receiving a first round bye. The latter just came off a close loss against New Era Gaming and while these names aren't the most recognizable you can bet 3D.NY will not be underestimating any opponent as they look to earn their way into the CEVO Professional season through this Placement tournament at 10:30 PM EST tonight!

3D.NY will look to make an opening statement against the relatively unknown team, Vindicative.

Out of these 25 teams, the top 10 teams will advance to the CEVO-P Division. Can 3D.NY earn their way into the division? They'll start out by facing off Vindicative tonight.

VINDICATE THEMSELVES
Much is not known about Vindicative but that does not mean you should count them out. 9Frame, a relative unknown CS: Source team, was able to edge out Complexity LA in an early CGS Pro/Am match. Online or not, exhibition or not, a loss is a loss and should serve as a reminder to never underestimate anyone these days and Vindicate is one of them.
